Wavecrest Cafe

Our food is honest in it's simplicity, using traditional family recipes for our classic dishes like our much loved favourites.

We are famous on this side of the island for the biggest and best scones, that come with lots of lovely strawberries and cream. Plus our pots of tea are bottomless!

Homemade

Our Fish Pies and Cheese & Onion Pies are famous.... our dearest locals pay us weekly visits for their Cheese & Onion Pie fix and yearly holidaymakers come and find us again to try our newest menu additions!

No matter what you fancy, you can wash it all down with bottomless pots of tea, great coffee, or watch this space for seriously good G&T's and our own craft beers! All good, thirst quenching stuff for those sunny afternoons.

Local

We take great pride and care in supporting our local producers and make every effort to source locally. With this in mind, we are able to offer some of the finest honey's made only a short bee's flight away, as well as lots of other lovely treats.

Family

Ever since our doors opened over 12 years ago, we have always been a tight knit family operation. Coming into our cafĂ© is an extension of coming into our home. We all do our bit to ensure our customers leave with a huge smile on their face, and lots of lovely food in their belly.

Where To Find Us

We are only a 5 minute walk from the beach...Church Bay is a beautiful sandy beach backed up against the shelter of rock face.

The rock pools and long stretches of sand at low tides make it a kids paradise. It's popular with dog walkers and ramblers. The coastal clifftop walk is stunning from early Spring and of course we're on hand to provide a hearty breakfast, a good slice of cake, a warming bowl of soup, a big chunk of home made pie, a beer......whatever's needed.

Plus we do a good range in the bucket and spade department if you've left yours at home!
